DuanWu Festival, 端午节
Also known as "Dragon Boat Festival" another alternative name for DuanWu Festival . For dragon boating as a sport...
The Duanwu Festival is a Chinese traditional and statutory holiday. It is a public holiday in Mainland China and in Taiwan, too bad.. not in Malaysia.. where it is known as the "Duanwu Festival “端午节” , it is also Public Holiday in Hong Kong and Macau.
The Duanwu Festival occurs on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Lunar Calender, giving rise to the alternative name of "Double Five". In 2008, this falls on 8 June, which is today. The focus of the celebrations include eating, "Zongzi" or 粽子。Which are large glutinous rice savoury with fillings wraps with leaves. Well of course don't forget race dragon boats.

The most well-known traditional story holds that the festival commemorates the death of poet Qu Yuan of the ancient state of Chu, “楚” of the Zhou Dynasty. A descendant of the Chu royal house, Qu served in high offices. However, when the king decided to ally with the increasingly powerful state of Qin “秦”, Qu Yuan was banished for opposing the alliance. During his exile, Qu Yuan wrote a great deal of poetry, for which he is now remembered. Twenty-eight years later, Qin conquered the Chu capital. In despair, Qu Yuan committed suicide by drowning himself in the Miluo River，“汩罗江” on the fifth day of the fifth month.
It is said that the local people, who admired him, threw food into the river to feed the fish so that they would not eat Qu Yuan's body. This is said to be the origin of Zongzi.
The local people were also said to have paddled out on boats, either to scare the fish away or to retrieve his body. This is said to be the origin of dragon boats racing.

Saturday at Berjaya Time Square
I didn't go back to my Home Town this weekend. So quite free...
Today, I had nothing to do. So I decided to go BTS to have a walk. Actually I also planned to buy Desk Lamp at the BEST DENKI.
I step out from my house at 10.10am. Went to take MetroBus to Chow Kit Monorail Station. Then, take monorail to Imbi Station. Is faster than taking MetroBus to Bukit Bintang... wakaka. Save alot of money(TIME)....
reach BTS around 11.00. Still early... So I just wandering around, so pass by the Golden Screen Cinema ticket booth ... So bought a movie ticket, "Superhero Movie"
The Story Line is not I am expected. Although overall of the movie is entertaining and funny, but is lack of better story line.. because I personally felt that the movie is lack of Climax~
The movie just ended, but is just not enough... the movie length is just 87 minute ... bad story line....
After Movie is Lunch Time... went to Sushi King...
There is no burning sensation while dining this, just taste of satisfaction

Wednesday, Today, I only have one Case Study class, from 10-12.... I lost my timing, went out to early to take bus, arrive at college at around 9.35am, *sweat*
Too bad...There were student in the classroom, I can't enter to have the cool aircond... so wait outside alone... take some photos at the K block there... and waiting for the class...

After class, follow my friend back to Genting Kelang to have lunch together. We went to Steven Corner during afternoon... wakaka~

after that.. I and my friends went to the WCG Cyber Cafe to have a look... all 22Inch LCD monitor... very nice !
We had 1 hour DOTA XD~ then went home ~

Back To College ~
Today I back to college. Feel good, can meet my friends again....
Bought a new book today, System Analysis and Design, cost me RM50 =..="
My first tutorial, Analysis and Design of Information System, lectured by Mr.Low, quite a friendly lecture. I enjoy his class very much.
After that, I attend Database Developments and Application... Oh my god... the lecturer is so terrible, Miss Cheong. I tried to pay 100% concentration to the lecturer, but my concentration won't pay off, I can't even understand what she talking about... and the class are very very boring... feel want to sleep... almost doze off during that time ~ How am I gonna survive in this subject... is still unknown
Need to study myself ... no choice.. bad luck... haiz...
Accounting Software Packaging, this subject is.... kinda confusing and complicated.. I hope I can do it... 100% coursework.. no exam... better don't play around... must hardworking...
